Pokémon List

How to Use

  1. Switch between icon, list, and details.

  2. Download more Pokémon.

  3. Change language, background, and so on.

  4. Search all entries. Try entering Pokémon names, Pokédex numbers, move names, Ability names, and so on.

  5. Change the order in which items are displayed.

  6. Enter detailed search conditions to find Pokémon.

Searching for Pokémon

  1. Search everything:
    Pokémon names, Pokédex numbers, move names, Ability names, and so on.
    For example:

    • Enter “Emo” and Emolga's page will open.
    • Enter “Levitate” and you'll see the Pokémon with the Levitate ability.
  2. Filter Pokémon by entering search terms.

  3. Search for Pokémon that can learn certain moves.
    Choosing a move from the list can be difficult, so you can also search on the move explanation screen and update your search directly from that screen.

  4. You can search for each star independently.

  • *Only star icons and Egg Groups are an OR search.

Pokémon Information

How to Use

  1. This works the same way as the Pokémon list.

  2. Tap to expand.

  3. Open a Pokémon's information by tapping on it.
    Evolutions, other Form(e)s, and Pokémon you have browsed are shown here.

  4. Switch the information being displayed.

  5. You can leave a note of up to 140 characters for each Pokémon.

  6. Use these icons to categorize Pokémon.
    Set the icons by tapping on them.

  7. Select the layout when the screen is displayed horizontally.
    Change the size of the text.

  8. Search everything:
    Pokémon names, Pokédex numbers, move names, Ability names, and so on.

  9. Use these markers with the Nintendo 3DS download software Pokédex 3D Pro and Pokédex 3D.

  10. Abilities with icons affect the amount of damage received.

  11. Tap and hold a move, Ability, type name, Egg Group, and so on, and a pop-up menu appears.

  • Type names, Abilities, and Egg Groups. You can also use the buttons to search for Pokémon.
